What areas do you cover?
We are based in North London and mainly cover London and the home counties for smaller jobs and the whole of the South East from Norfolk to Wales for larger jobs. We travel nationwide for commercial or specialist period work where people have found it hard to find local companies with the skills, experience or willingness to undertake sympathetic restoration of old timbers to preserve their patination, by hand rather than by machine, for example. What range of services do you provide?
Undertaking much of the work myself, with over twenty years experience and with several other apprentice trained and experienced craftsmen to call upon we are able to provide the following services to a standard that is not widely available anymore:
Virtually dust free floor sanding, floor laying, reclaimed wood floor laying, floor repair, low VOC and sustainable finishes, high traffic commercial floor lacquer application, traditional wax and polish finishes, staining and colour matching, invisible repairs, distressing, ageing, liming, waxing, oiling, architectural finishing, door stripping, staircase refinishing, panel stripping, antique restoration, French polishing and furniture finishing.
