Most of the work is carried out by myself, currently based in North London although when busy I do use a very select number of colleagues (all close friends of mine) mostly trained French Polishers to assist. We travel nationwide for conservation work. We especially enjoy working on old properties whether listed, in a conservation area or not and will try and keep our costs down to a minimum.
If you just require advice or a quote for insurance purposes then we are still happy to help where we can, just please let us know.
For commercial customers we offer a very fast turnaround and high quality dust free service whether it be boardroom table refinishing, school floor sanding, church hall floor sanding, hotel floor sanding or retail floor sanding. Whilst we absolutely cannot match the lowest prices this is because we only use the highest rated lacquers and apply the correct thickness of coating ensuring that our refinished tables and floors last many years longer than our competitors making us better value for money by several multiples. We refuse to compromise on quality so you can be fully confident of a successful outcome with minimal downtime/financial penalty for your business in both the short and long term.

Photographs: I get a large number of enquiries every week from all over the country, it is not possible for me to visit everyone of you before I provide an estimate although I try and see most jobs before providing a full written quotation. It is therefore sometimes very helpful if you could provide me with some photos of the work in question. Even if you do not wish to use my services I am happy to offer free expert advice/identify wood species/estimate age of timber etc.
What happens next?
Once we make contact a rough estimate can normally be given straight away. If this meets with your approval and we agree a mutual interest in carrying out the job then depending on your location we may ask you to send us a couple of photos via email so we can give a better estimate, or quote there and then. If this is not conclusive, or the job is likely to be difficult or requires a lot of repairs for example then we would arrange to conduct a free site survey after which a written quotation will be sent to you.
